Why phase to phase voltage 415?
In a three-phase system, the 415V phase-to-phase voltage is calculated by vectoring the individual phase voltages, that are either 230V or 240V depending on the system type.
The line voltage (phase-to-phase) & phase voltage (phase-to-neutral) have a relationship of √3.
In a 3-phase system, the voltage between any 2 phases is √3 times the voltage across a phase & the neutral point, which accounts for the greater voltage.
