What is the recommended flowmeter for water and alcohol with high accuracy?
Coriolis mass flow meters produce the most accurate for most liquids but are expensive. They have the advantage of not needing any knowledge about the fluid being carried.
The ultrasonic flow meter is good for gas flow and Coriolis mass flow meter is best for liquids
Magnetic flow meters have excellent accuracy and do not need to be zeroed.
The dirty secret of Coriolis is that it needs to be zeroed by stopping the flow and running through a zero calibration. Without a zero check/cal, then you can get very accurate readings that have an offset due to lack of zero cal. Caveat Emptor.
