If you can start the temporary download and the system number is received by the QPP, the wiring must be correct. Most likely there is another program installed on your PC that interferes with the download.
Applications like MSN Messenger running on a Safety Builder Station may affect Safety Builder communication with Safety Manager when using COM ports, such as the default link via COM1.
It has been discovered so far that the following programs might interrupt the download.
