What is the difference between KW and KVA

Explain the difference between KW and KVA

KW is the amount of ‘actual power’ an electrical system has. This shows you how much power is being converted into useful, working output.

kVA, on the other hand, is the measure of ‘apparent power. kW is how much power you can work with, kVA tells you how much is being used in the system overall.

1KVA is 1000VA is 100% consider as a source…when it’s converted into useful work the work efficiency is 95% which is 950W or 0.95 KW… this work efficiency is electrically denoted as power factor

The actual power consumed in an A.c circuit is measured by kilowatt whereas the apparent power consumed in an A.c circuit has measured by KVA.

KW is known as kilowatt and KVA is known as Kilo Volt Ampere
