What is Pressure?
Pressure is the amount of fence measured as force per unit area. Pressure is defined as the ratio of forces perpendicular to the surface. Inside fluids, pressure is caused by the weight of the liquid above each surface.
When the F force gets applied to a surface A, stress is formed in its components, causing them to collapse under stress. Pressure increases as greater force is applied to a smaller surface.
If the force exerted to a specific level grows, so does the pressure applied to the surface. The amount of force exerted on a surface is known as pressure, and it is symbolized by the symbol p.
SI unit of Pressure
Pascal is the pressure unit used in the International System of Units.
Pressure refers to the vertical force exerted on a surface’s unit area.
One pascal is equivalent to 1 newton per square meter (N/m²).
