What is a Pooling Substation?
A pooling substation is an internal substation of a solar PV power plant where power from multiple inverter transformers (or) feeder lines are collected (“pooled”) at a medium voltage level and then stepped up to a higher voltage for evacuation to the grid.
It acts as the electrical aggregation point between the solar field and the grid evacuation system.
