A control transformer is a specially designed step-down transformer that provides a stable, isolated, and reliable low-voltage power supply for electrical control circuits. It is widely used in industrial control panels, motor control centers (MCCs), switchgear, PLC systems, and automation equipment to power devices such as relays, contactors, timers, indicator lamps, solenoid valves, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
