Steps to configure Server to C200 Communications via Ethernet

Follow the following steps to configure Server to C200 Communications via Ethernet

  1. Edit "bootpdata.txt " file in Honeywell\TPS50\system\bin to include C200 Ethernet Module’s MAC and IP addresses.
  2. Use RSLinx(MUST be RSLinx OEM) app to configure one driver for each controller with an Ethernet Interface Module. Click Communications, Configure Drivers, and select “Remote Devices via Linx Gateway” from “Available Driver Types”. Click “Add New”. Accept Default Name “TCP-1”. On “Remote Devices via Linx Gateway” dialog enter the IP address of the C200 Ethernet Interface Module, or Browse to scan for available devices. IMPORTANT - DO NOT ENTER THE SERVER HOSTNAME OR IP ADDRESS! Click OK to close dialog. Driver should show “Running” as Status. Click File, Exit to close RSlinx.
  3. Start NTOOLS with “-e” switch to update controller firmware.
