Signal Transmission Measurement Methods

What is the Signal Transmission Method?

The weak electrical signals that are generated by the sensor are amplified and adapted by the electronic circuits that are contained within the transmitter.

This allows the signals to be transmitted over lengthy distances without deteriorating due to noise. As a result, the signals may also be employed to operate other devices such as controllers, recorders, and indicators.

Different Methods of Signal Transmission

When transmitting their signal, transmitters employ a variety of different methods.

Among the different methods of signal transmission, the following are some examples:

  • Four-Wire Transmitter/Four-Wire Transmitter,
  • Two Wire Transmitter/Two Wire Transmitter,
  • “Smart” Transmitter Transmitter,
  • Field Bus Transmitter Transmitter.
