Recently I have been trying to interface with PadPuls 2 by Relay.de through modbus and then via mbus to modbus converter. However it requires some configuration using their own software MBCONF.
In order to do this I need a ‘transparent’ M-bus to Rs-232/USB adapter/converter. Did anyone ever used such a device?
I looked into the following products;
M-Bus - RS232 Converter by Anybus
http://www.anybus.com/products/products.asp?PID=495&ProductType=M-Bus%20Converter
M-Bus Micro-Master by Relay
http://www.relay.de/en/produkte/master/mikromaster.html
the following are made by ADF
Converter M-BUS / RS232:
HD67020-B2-3 - ( up to 3 Mbus slaves )
HD67020-B2-10 - ( up to 10 Mbus slaves )

Converter M-BUS / USB:

HD67024-B2-160 - ( up to 160 Mbus slaves )

I really appreciate if you can give me some tips or maybe some feedback if you used a product from the above.
thanks,
