I have power cycled a panel and it looks like the Ethernet card is now fried, it took a breaker out with it. I’ve not been able to ping the IP address although when I open cx programmer I can still go online and view the ladder etc
If the Ethernet card had a fault it would show an error code, also when you connect to the CPU through CX-Programmer and go online there would be a fault in the error log.
Setup and connection of the EIP21 are done through Network Configurator, not CX-Programmer (Connect through the CPU backplane).
All connected devices to the EIP21 would usually go through a network switch, if you have lost comms is it the switch at fault?
