Please suggest how to rectify following issue of 475 Field Communicator.
HART communicator display not working kindly suggest what to do…?
Message on 475 Field Communicator.
Attention
This unit did not boot up properly. Please select ONE of the following.
RETRY… To reboot the unit.
REFLASH… To reload the application software.
RECOVER… To reload the OS
Select the reboot option so HART having the driver could be installed properly and run the device with the connecting instrument.it is a boot problem and comes due to an improper start and stop of a communicator.
Or Extract SD memory and connect it to the computer and run easy upgrade program and make repair of it|
hello ashlin, I have the following prompt on my screen but I am unable to select any of the 3 options, I have tried installing files from a working sd card by drag and drop, I contact emerson about the easy upgrade utility tool and they have not replied back to me… not sure what else I can do but even with the sd card from a working 475, my hart still will not work… what do I do to make it reboot when I can not select the reboot option?
