Most-Open-Valve (MOV) control logic

Hello all

I am currently designing a package, which has a storage tank, centrifugal pump to pump the solution out from the storage tank and between 6 to 10 discharge points with their own control valves. The flow delivered by the pump is equally split between all discharge lines.

The duty point on the pump is kept constant using VFD - input comes from the discharge side pressure transmitter (in other words the pressure on the header line is kept constant).

With a handful of control valves installed in parallel, there could be instability due control valve hunting. I did some investigation and found that the Most-Open Valve (MOV) control logic could provide systemwide stability and eliminates hunting. Is anyone of you aware of this type of control logic. If so, please can you provide some valuable information
