MCB - MCB is getting tripped during power up, how to solve this problem

When I press the start or stop button in the MCB, and then when I power the MCB it is getting tripped, so what is the reason for that?

It could be because of two reasons

  • At first we must check the power cable, so check its resistance and also check if the power cable is grounded
  • Short circuit or overload could be the other reason
