Good morning all
I would like to interface a weighing scale display value to a PLC in order to control a conveyor belt. The scale has an RS-232 output.
PLC: Delta AS332-T or Delta T70P Weighing Scale: Micro A12E
My first objective is to get the scale value to the PLC for further processing. I have read about using a RS-232 to Ethernet/IP converter, and then plugging the ethernet/IP cable into the PLC. My question is how do I retrieve the value on the PLC? Is this the most common way or are there better methods?
