How to calculate measurement value from 4-20 ma transmitter output?

The equation to calculate Measurement Value is

MV = { [(TV - TRL) / (TRU - TRL) ] *(MRU-MRL)} + MRL

MV = Measurement Value TRL = Transmitter range low value Eg:4 ma TRU = Transmitter range upper value Eg: 20 ma. TV = Transmission value MRL = Measurement range lower value. MRU = Measurement range upper value.

Calculate the measurement value of a 4-20 ma transmitter,the transmitter output is 18.826 ma. Measurement range of the transmitter is 0 deg C to 300 deg C?

MV = { [(18.826 - 4) / (20- 4) ] * (300-0) } + 0

Measurement Value = ( .926 * 300) + 0 = 277 deg C
