How do you give feedback to an inverter?

To provide feedback for inverters, sensors such as the following are commonly utilized:

• Voltage feedback measures the output voltage.

• Current feedback measures the output current.

• Tachometer (or) Encoder provides speed feedback (in motor drives).

• Position feedback enables accurate control.

By

• Maintaining stability,

• Regulating output, and

• Enabling closed-loop control

that are all accomplished by the transmission of this feedback to the inverter controller, which may be a Pulse Width Modulation(PWM) (or) Digital Signal Processor(DSP).
