What is DC-to-AC Inverter?
DC-to-AC Inverter is used to converts DC (Direct Current) from the battery to AC (Alternating Current) for the motor.
How It Works?
Step-1). The battery provides DC power to the inverter.
Step-2). The inverter utilizes electronic switches (IGBTs/MOSFETs).
Step-3). These switches generate pulses as they rapidly flip on and off.
Step-4). Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) transforms these pulses into an alternating current waveform (AC).
Step-5). The motor receives the AC and begins rotating the wheels.
Step-6). This process occurs thousands of times per second and is so seamless that we only experience immediate acceleration.
