In a DP flow transmitter, there is a leak in HP side tubing then what could happen in flow reading.
Flow decrease, flow increase, negative reading, or increase in Dp
if too much leakage then it will show negative reading or error
∆p = hp-lp
If leakage occurred in hp then it will show less ∆p i.e. less flow. And if the leakage is high then it will show negative flow
