Communication between OPC DA and OPC client

Dears, I have three different PLCs in my company .they share data with our central unit using GPRS network and using OPC DA for each Brand.

I want to know if it’s possible to develop one OPC client to share data providing from each OPC DA?

the first question do they support the same spec? ie opc da 2.0 or 3.0?

A single OPC server connects to all 3 PLCs through its driver(s). OPC client requests data from OPC server. OPC server provides data from PLCs.

OPC server client must be the same version. OPC UA is not backwards compatible with OPC DA. OPC DA v2 is not compatible with OPC DA V3.

Start with OPC UA. No freebies. OPC is licensed technology and you need to pay for it.
