Can you explain i2t ON and i2t OFF settings on ACB? image

There are two types of Tripping’s

1.Definite Time Tripping (DT)

2.Inverse Definite Mean Time (IDMT)

When I2T is OFF DT tripping will occur when I2T is ON IDMT tripping will occur, because current is always inversely proportional to time (seconds),

DT & IDMT having different curves, when 12T is on or off condition the curve will change according to time delay in seconds.
