# What is the purpose of a Universal Motor?

UNIVERSAL MOTOR is good for AC and DC. This motor is a 2 pole motor it is a high speed and high torque motor.

All the application where high speed and high torque is required this motor is used such as

1. hand power tools grinders,
2. drill machines,
3. cutters,
4. kitchen grinders,
5. mixers,
6. choppers,
7. vacuum cleaners,
8. small water pumps,
9. portable air pumps, etc
