## Electric Actuator Ball Valve

An electric actuator ball valve is a type of valve that utilizes an electric actuator to regulate the flow of fluid through it. This device combines the functionality of a ball valve, recognized for its rapid on/off operation, with the automation capabilities of an electric actuator.

## How Electric Actuator Ball Valve Works?

### Electrical Actuator

This system’s main component is the electric actuator, which turns electrical energy into mechanical motion. When an electrical current is delivered, the actuator’s motor produces rotational force.

### Gear Mechanism

The rotating motion is conveyed by a set of gears. The gears lower the motor’s high-speed output while increasing torque, which is required to operate the valve properly.

### Valve Operation

Connect the actuator to the ball valve’s stem. The actuator turns, causing the ball inside the valve body to revolve. The ball features a hole in its center; when aligned with the flow route, it allows fluid to pass through (open position); when rotated 90 degrees, it blocks the flow (closed position).

### Control Features

Electric actuators can be equipped with limit switches & control circuitry for precise operation. Electric actuator ball valves are commonly employed in industrial operations requiring precise flow control due to their remote control and automation capabilities.
