# Modbus connection details for interfacing ABB PLC with HONEYWELL DCS

what all troubleshooting steps were taken?

1. tried communicating ABB via TCP on level 1/level2 on a laptop but when it connects to the client’s network over DCS, doesn’t work. is there any policy blocking the IP?
2. tried telnet pingig also, pings from laptop but not DCS server.
