# How to unlock password protected xls and xlsx file if password is unknown?

The easiest way to use VBA a code and run the macro.

Step 1.

Press Alt + F11

It will open a new pop up window.

Step 2.

Paste the following script

Step 3

Click on “Run” . Wait for some time. You will get the password.
