# Change Experion license with dongle insert with error "license change c,v, Error writing license"

When try to change the Experion License at server it prompted with the following error: Licence not successfully changed Licencechage.c,v,Error writing license details.

At the problem server: (a) run and check the dongle key (licheck -dongle) from the command prompt (start\>run\>cmd) or at Experion command prompt (Start\>All programs\>…\>Diagnostic Tools\>Experion command prompt). The result should show the algorithm is “correct” and system number matched the site system number.

Example of running the “licheck -dongle” utility: C:\>licheck -dongle
