### Capacitance Test

The Capacitance Test measures the **[capacitance](https://forumelectrical.com/electrostatic-capacitance-calculator/)** of the insulation system. Any significant change from the baseline value may indicate insulation deterioration or physical changes within the equipment.

### Purpose

1. Verify insulation integrity.

2. Detect winding movement or deformation.

3. Identify moisture ingress.

4. Detect insulation damage.
